On Thursday 1st February, Year 5 were invited to a sneak preview of the Bristnall Hall Academy’s production of Matilda. Not only did the children get to see the production for free (tickets are £3 for the general public), but they were also given a goodie bag on the way out!
Staff and pupils alike were so impressed with the professionalism and talent of everyone involved. It was hard to believe that the performers were only in year 10 and 11.
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces among the performers, with our neighbours, relatives and former pupils putting on an amazing show. The children left the show inspired and I am sure we will see many of them starring in future productions at the school.
