Welcome to Moat Farm Juniors, a caring and vibrant school where individuals feel happy, secure, challenged and valued. We aim to make a difference by working in partnership with families and the community to cultivate a love of life and learning in all our children.
We strive to make learning engaging and a natural part of life for our children. Reading is the cornerstone of our curriculum and we positively promote reading for pleasure as an essential and life enhancing skill, asking families to support us with this at home. We want all children to become confident and independent learners with inquiring minds and develop as individuals to their full potential; therefore, we expect them to give their best in all that they do.
We believe that children should be encouraged to develop positive values towards themselves, each other and the wider community of which they are part of. Our school values of Motivations, Optimism, Acceptance, Teamwork, Friendship, Achievement, Respect and Manners are the base of everything we do. We work together to create a school where positive behaviour is the norm, and all are treated with respect, understanding and sensitivity.
Staff, children, parents and governors are all proud to be part of our school. We are committed to improving standards through promoting high expectations and seek to build on what we do well in our quest for continuous improvement. We are forward looking and thrive through collaboration and partnership, sharing with and learning from others.
Our website offers only an introduction to the education we offer children at Moat Farm Juniors. Therefore, we would like to extend a warm invitation to both you and your children to visit our school and see us learning together first hand.
I look forward to welcoming you to our school.
