As part of Year 4’s Stone Age to Iron Age topic, the children were transported back in time to the Stone Age where they experienced what life would have been like for Stone Age people for a whole day. Children dressed up as cave people and formed tribes to go hunting and gathering. They were informed about the importance of shelters and experienced constructing their own, to see if they would be able to survive the trials and tribulations of cave men and women.
