Congratulations to our year five and six pupils who competed today at the Sainsbury’s School Games Sportshall Athletics Level 2 competition. We are delighted to announce that we were overall winners for the Sandwell borough, which was a fantastic result considering 23 primary schools were participating in the event!
The team are now through to the next stage, a level 3 competition which will see them compete against schools from all over the West Midlands. Well done children!
A team of 40 pupils from year 3, 4, 5 and 6 competed in the Sainsbury’s School Games Cross Country Event. After reaching the final this week, Moat Farm Junior School achieved second place which is fantastic, considering that several schools in the local area had entered. A special mention to the boys in year four and five, who achieved the triple in their event! First, second and third place! Those children were Terelle Miles-Smith, Ethan Southall and McKenzie Garland for year four and Arjun Toor, Alex Wellings and Brenton Hanson-Jnr for year five. Well done boys and girls, we are very proud of your efforts.
