On Wednesday 13th September Moat Farm celebrated Roald Dahl’s birthday! The children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite Roald Dahl characters and brought in £1 to raise money for his charity. Throughout the day, they took in part in many different Roald Dahl activities such as creating Roald Dahl fact files, writing character descriptions and creating a ghastly marvellous medicine! They also read a range of Roald Dahl extracts and enjoyed writing book reviews on their favourite stories. It was a great day and a pleasure to see the children so enthusiastic about reading!
