Year 4 become detectives
The police arrived at Moat Farm Junior School on Friday June, to inform Year 4 that there had been a serious incident in the hall. It looked as though there had been a break in, where laptops had tried to be stolen. Fortunately, no one was hurt and not hing was taken! Year 4 needed to process the crime scene. The children had to piece together a torn letter, identify DNA evidence, fibre evidence, the pen used and footprint and finger print evidence. They learnt logical thought processes and to not make a choice about the suspect, until all of the clues had been followed up. Even though Year 4 were having a fantastic time, they managed to followed the clues and identified the suspect!
