Eight girls were chosen from years five and six to participate in a girls football tournament at WBA FC.
The girls played really well as a team and in the group stage didn’t concede a goal!!
We then went through to the quarter-finals but two quick goals from the opposition were too much for the girls to pull back and St John Boscoe then went on to win the tournament.
Our captain Nicole led the team into every match with enthusiasm and good communication skills.
Great goalkeeping from Mia and Teia, solid defending from Nicole & Folusho and fantastic attacking play from Emilia, Belle, Kayleigh & Taylor made us a hard team to beat!
